Bendigo Blues & Roots Music Festival #10

3 November @ 11:00 pm - 7 November @ 12:45 pm AEDT

The 10th annual Bendigo Blues & Roots Music Festival will be another fun-filled four-day event of Blues and Roots performances, Open mic opportunities, Jam sessions and workshops at multiple venues throughout Bendigo and surrounding towns. The centerpiece of the program, as always, is a day-long family-friendly concert featuring more than a dozen acts over two stages in picturesque Rosalind Park on Saturday 6 November 2021.

This year’s line-up will be another treasure trove of discovery, regardless of your musical persuasions. The full program will be available in due course via our website and our mobile device app (powered by Bendigo Telco), along with the list of confirmed artists and ticketing links to our marquee events.

The list of over 100 acts performing at this year’s Festival proper will be released mid-year and we look forward to sharing another amazing array of musical artists with you come November 4-7.

Ulumbarra Theatre will host our internationally renowned headliners over the Friday and Saturday nights, with respected local and visiting artists opening for them on Bendigo’s biggest and most prestigious stage.

The Blues Tram will again run four times over the course of the weekend, featuring 8 acts in total, on Friday night, Saturday afternoon, Saturday evening and Sunday afternoon. All the Blues Tram events for the last two years’ programs have sold out, so organisers suggest getting in early to secure your seats on Central Victoria’s iconic mobile music venue.

Venue locations on this year’s program are not only dotted around the City’s CBD, with street parties and hotels, cafes, our famed Art Gallery and park spaces, but outside the CBD. There will again be participating venues hosting live music as part of the program in White Hills, Golden Square, Quarry Hill, Long Gully, Eaglehawk, Kangaroo Flat and as far flung as Ravenswood, Cornella and Maldon.

You absolutely need to block out 4-7 November 2021 on your calendar and suggest to your friends and family that they do the same. Bendigo’s best weekend of the year is one to be shared and enjoyed by as many good folks as possible.

We are excited to share all the amazing musical experiences in store. We hope to once again have international acts from Canada, Germany, New Zealand and the United States, as well as from every Australian state and territory performing in our beautiful city. As usual, many of this year’s acts have never played our festival before and some have never played Bendigo before; so we hope you’ll help us make them all feel welcome and appreciated – along with long-time favorites returning thanks to popular demand.

Please hit the ‘Going’ button on this event page to be kept completely up to date with all the goings on – and feel free to invite your friends to come join the fun; they’ll thank you in turn!
