The Amazing Race War

30th March @ 10:30 pm - 30th April @ 11:30 pm AEDT

AUD8 – AUD15

Four comedians. Three nations. One hour. Will they solve racism, or start a race war? Either way, it’ll be amazing

Bharath Rao combines light and dark humour in a way that will have you in stitches. He opened for Fiona O’Loughlin at the 2021 Festival.

Joel Temperly is a bitter Melburnian who likes his Melbourne Bitter. He’s performed across Asia, and has appeared on the TV (Channel 31’s Tell Us Another One).

Tej Munuganti is comedian who only talks about turbans and Dilmah. He’s written/performed for Waiting for Pujit (2022 Melbourne Fringe), The Big HOO-HAA!, Yes, Gandhi and The Leak (Ch31).

Aaqib Merchant hails from the city of dreams: Mumbai. But all he’s experienced are nightmares. He mixes the real with the absurd, ending up with a Frankenstein!

Mazz Matta is best described using adjectives. Born in Lebanon, raised in deep Southern USA, his style is intelligent obscurity. Veering from traditional stand-up, his comedy is unlike anything you have ever seen or heard, starting from start to finish.

Three nights only at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival! Get around it!
