A man has died in an early morning alleged brawl at a popular park in Melbourne’s CBD.
The fight between two men unfolded just before 7am on Monday in Fitzroy Gardens in East Melbourne, police said.
One of the men was treated at the scene by paramedics, but died a short time later.

The second man was arrested and remains in custody.
Homicide detectives are investigating but police said they were not looking for anyone else in relation to the incident.
Both men are yet to be identified.
Police have urged anyone with information to contact them.
