Kaley Cuoco is set to keep most of her $135 million acting fortune after splitting from her second husband, Karl Cook.
Actress Kaley Cuoco, who is estimated to be worth $135 million, is set to keep her millions as she begins divorce proceedings with second husband Karl Cook.
A source told Us Weekly the Big Bang Theory star has an “iron-clad prenup in place”.
The source added: “Her assets are protected.”
According to Us Weekly, the court has ordered the pair to disclose all their financial information within 60 days.
Cuoco, who has been acting since she was a child, was earning $US1 million per episode for Big Bang Theory by 2014. The show was on the air from 2007-2019.
Her estranged husband, 30, is the son of Scott Cook, who founded the tax software company Intuit and is estimated by Forbes to be worth $7.9 billion.
Cuoco, 35, filed for divorce on Friday, the same day the couple confirmed to Page Six they’re going their separate ways after three years of marriage.
“Despite a deep love and respect for one another, we have realised that our current paths have taken us in opposite directions,” they said in a joint statement. “We have both shared so much of our journey publicly so while we would prefer to keep this aspect of our personal life private, we wanted to be forthcoming in our truth together. There is no anger or animosity, quite the contrary.
“We have made this decision together through an immense amount of respect and consideration for one another and request that you do the same in understanding that we will not be sharing any additional details or commenting further.”
The couple began dating in 2016 and were married in 2018. They do not have any children.
A representative for Cuoco did not immediately return our request for comment.
